DATOS DEL AUTOR: Sigurd Grava Sigurd Grava (New York, NY) is an international leader in the field of urban transportation. He is Vice president and Technical Director of Planning at Parsons Brinckerhoff Quade and Douglas, the firm with the largest international transportation practice, and he has managed projects in 25 countries. He is also Professor of Urban Transportation Planning at Columbia University. Grava received his MA in Urban Planning and his PhD in Transportation Planning from Columbia; he has a BS in Civil Engineering from City College of the City University of New York. He is a Fellow of the American Institute of Certified Planners and a member of the American Planning Association and the American Society of Civil Engineers; he has published many articles on transportation issues.
